Over the past six months, the European Parliament collected over 1500 ideas and proposals from young citizens around the continent on Youthideas.eu. The most popular ideas from the youth consultations, chosen by the EYE editorial team, were taken to EYE2021 and further developed by participants during ideation sessions.
Out of these, 20 ideas were selected and all EYE participants -including our #STANDFORSOMETHING youth activists- voted to choose the top 5 ideas, presented at the closing of the event.
The Youth Ideas Report collects the 20 final ideas developed at the EYE, highlighting the most supported proposals discussed at the closing plenary of EYE2021. Many more youth ideas from the consultation process can be found on search.youthideas.eu.
On 22-23 October, two young participants were invited to the European Parliament in Strasbourg to take part in the plenary of the Conference on the Future of Europe. They presented the Youth Ideas Report, feeding in the ideas of young people in the democratic process of the Conference.
The Conference on the Future of Europe is an unprecedented, open and inclusive democratic exercise, with a Multilingual Digital Platform, where all Europeans are invited to have their say on how to shape our shared future on various issues.
