Stand For Something
Looking for some light reading? The Conference on the Future of Europe reached it conclusion on Monday, and with that was published the final report. It contains 49 policy proposals agreed by plenary members and based on ideas from citizens around Europe. The European Youth Event, at which #StandForSomething organised two participatory workshops, is prominently featured as an inspiration for several proposals. In fact, young people have played a huge role throughout this process, whether through official deliberations or thanks to the organisation of add-hoc inclusive events. It’s also great to see some of the priorities highlighted in our report (link in bio) reflected in the policy proposals. From sustainability and education to mental health and mobility, the themes explored by our research are of clear importance to European citizens.
